I recently had the incredible good fortune of spending a few days In Victoria, BC with hummingbird expert, Eric Pittman. For the past 15 years Eric has been capturing videos of hummingbirds in and around his own backyard. He has filmed over 120 nests and their dazzling occupants! Eric’s mesmerizing footage captures these fascinating creatures building nests, feeding their young, competing for territory. The CBC recently produced a delightful documentary about Eric and his research.
