Celebrating November as the National Care Giver Month in the United States, Zinnia TV is releasing a new app that will allow people with dementia and their caregivers to watch videos from anywhere.

‍Previously only available in a web browser, people with dementia or facing cognitive changes, and their caregivers, can now watch Zinnia TV with a new app available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV as well as Android, Fire TV and Roku devices.

The Zinnia TV research-driven videos are crafted by dementia experts, artists and care professionals. They're uplifting, slow-paced and plot-free—perfect for those preferring a gentler viewing experience.

Passive viewing can soothe distress and promote self-care but our videos can also be used to help anticipate events of the day. For example by watching the "Let's eat lunch" video while lunch is being prepared by a caregiver viewers can help anticipate the next action of the day and transition to it more smoothly.

Through active viewing with an empathetic caregiver and commenting on the content of videos, viewers can reestablish a sense of self and feel more connected to the people around them.

‍The Zinnia TV app is available now to download on the Apple App Store for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and the Google Play store for most Android phones, tablets, televisions and streaming devices. Search for Zinnia TV to find the app on Fire TV or the channel on Roku devices.

Zinnia TV includes some free videos and the complete collection of videos can regularly be viewed for $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. A 14-Day Trial is available.

Until December 15 2022, an introductory offer of $39.99 for one year is being offered.
